Anakie Hall Exhibition

Situated at the main entrance to the festival is the Anakie Hall Exhibition. This exciting exhibition features local Sapphire miners who will display and sell their stunning collections. The hall will also feature the festival’s Major Art Union Raffle Prizes alongside the Silent Auction Artwork. More information is coming soon!

We haven’t forgotten about the children with a large area of the festival venue dedicated to kid’s fun! Everything from jumping obstacle courses, face painting, camel rides, balloons, competitions, and more will be available every day of the festival!

Throughout the festival, talented artisans will be providing a range of demonstrations. Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to see chainsaw sculpting, pottery throwing and decorating, blacksmithing, and opal cabochoning.

What is a festival without delicious food? Our amazing catering vendors will provide festival patrons with an assortment of food including Souvalki’s, ice cream, German Sausages, and more hot and cold food options. Also returning this year is the Gemfest Bar.

This year the Gemfest Festival of Gems will feature a large variety of musical talent performing daily. Whether you like listening to Aussie Rock Classics, Country Folk, or Multi-instrumental acts, we have you covered. It would not be Gemfest without our famously popular Art Union Raffle. This year’s prizes are handcrafted from stunning Sapphires generously donated by Coolamon Mining. More information including photographs of the prizes, and where to buy tickets is coming soon!
